Login every 10 minutes ?

Hey guys, i m using Tata Indicom since 5 days.When i dont use net for 10 mins or so, i get logged out from net automaticlly. I then have to login again. Is this happening with all tata users ?

You might have selected Idle logout in settings. Uncheck it.

The setting should be in the Router page.

Check the router home page at 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1. Go to PPPoE/PPPoA Connection settings and check that "Close if idle for 10 minutes" is unchecked". Btw, Are you using modem/router?

neither modem nor router. The tata indicom broadband line comes to me via LAN...!Btw, m not able to open ne of the 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1 ......its giving - problem loading page - in firefox.

So how do u connect? Using XP dialer or any other dialer. In XP dialer there should be a similar option. Look for it.

The person who had come to install net at my place.....created a shorcut of an internet explorer homepage....i open it and a login screen opens......i put my username and pw...and net works fine after that. Desktop shortcut is called TI BB WEB DIALER
