Looking for a list of all blocked sites in India

I'm on Hathway and Archive.org works great. I am using custom DNS settings though.

@RedskyITM Oh Bangalore huh. One reason could be that the regional Hathaway maintainers unblocked it as do many ISPs when they find out that a wrong website has been blocked and the Hathaway Mumbai ones didn't do it.

Another reason could be your DNS settings maybe try with the default DNS and see if the website is still blocked.

I reverted to the Hathway DNS and I saw the ACCESS DENIED message. So that's confirmed then, they use DNS lookups to redirect you to the notice.

@RedskyITM So it was indeed your DNS settings that were the reason you were able to access the website.

Another ISP which uses Netsweeper, Jio. It should be mentioned that they only recently started blocking websites and they have gone with Netsweeper indeed. According to the page source posted by @a2642605 Now even Jio has started blocking websites.

This leads me to believe that most ISPs are using Netsweeper to enable website blocking and it seems to be the industry standard for it as well. People should be made aware about this as they have the right to know what is being used to impede their free speech.

Anyone here got a list of sites blocked in India. Preferably not of Jio as they block whatever they want.

I was also looking for the same info but, to be specific, I wanted to know the websites blocked by Airtel Xstream Fiber.
Anyone having Xstream fiber kindly reply to this post, it would be of great help.
