Looking for Wired Broadband services in Sector 122, Noida

Just relocated to Sector 122 in Noida, UP recently. I'm looking for a wired broadband service. Right now some things are vague. I saw a pamphlet of some local operator called FT Broadband with 4 / 10 / 20 Mbps plans. No price details. Will contact them soon. Though I doubt it would be anything lucrative enough.

While looking at the Wifi networks in my laptop, I notice a CityBroadband wifi ID always in range, and another Spectranet ID coming and going occasionally.

Now I would be in the clouds if I find Spectranet here. But it's most doubtful. I found a ph. no. of some guy who claims he knows some guy using Spectranet and that needs to be confirmed as well.

Don't have any idea about the CityBroadband info, I need to check their site and see what they have to say after contacting them.

Nextra website doesn't list Sector 122 in their availability, so that is an utter disappointment.

I need an option with anything around 4 Mbps that doesnt have a too tight FUP at 25-30 GB. Something around 75-100 GB cap at 4 Mbps with a monthly tariff of 1.5k is a deal maker for me.

To keep things simple, The main thing is a good speed plan with a post-FUP speed of 1 Mbps or higher, the FUP limit is not that important.

I am myself using FT broadband.Do not go for it,it is pathetic and not even on torbox.I am myself going to switch my provider though i am unable to find one.
Ft is run by two guys and their service is pathetic.

hey, thanks for replying. I have found some alternatives, some wifi networks with Spectranet and Citybroadband SSIDs which had a cellphone number attached as part of the SSID, and also some fliers stuck to the poles and junction boxes at the road sides. Will be calling them up and comparing their services.

saw a Hathway flier at Sector 41 boasting 50 Mbps at 899 p.m. If I had 5 Mbps at that without FUP, I wouldn't complain for life. :think:

No, the services are not available in my area. I live in Sector 122 Noida and they don't have anything here, not even in any other nearby sectors.

dude, Hathway just started laying cables in Sector 122!!!!!! arty::rock::rofl:

They had a roll of cables kept just outside my house, barely 100 feet away, which I saw today morning. While I was going away, these guys came and were moving the cables so I walked to them and asked them if they were internet cables, to which they said yes and said it was of Hathway. Trying to hide my excitement, I somehow asked them when it will be laid.
So I was told by the guys laying the cables that it should be done in less than 2 weeks. And here I was just about to take one of the other local Wifi type options next week. :clap:
