i just called up mach1 broadband and they said that in my building they do not have any connection yet but if the society gives them the permission to set up fiber and the other necessities they will open up a connection even if it's only me who is wanting to use their services. also it's not them directly who is providing services. they have a tie up with someone(i don't remember who) and also the plans might be different for us.

1.5 day downtime in a month is not good

With those prices and speeds, i think it's workable. MTNL is much more reliable but the speeds aren't that great.

and no body uses his connection 24x7 for 30day. Few downtime will occur when you are not using it.
