Powering the Imperio is a 2.5 litre 4-cylinder engine with common rail technology, pumping out 75 PS of peak power and 220 Nm of torque. The utility vehicle comes with a payload capacity of 1240kg along tubeless tyres wrapped around 16-inch wheels.
Speaking at the launch of the Imperio, Pravin Shah, president and chief executive (Automotive), Mahindra & Mahindra said: “In keeping with our endeavour of offering first of its kind products, we have launched the Imperio today which lays a strong foundation for an entirely new generation of pickups. Being a market leader in the segment, we have identified gaps to further consolidate our presence in the SCV segment,”
