At this rate, by the end of 2023, an iOS user will have enough options to post a toot from a different client each day of the year. And for android, go with Tusky or Megladon.

makes sense to be honest. with twitter shutting down third party app ecosystem, mastodon remains the only option for the folks who were making apps for twitter. i doubt cohost or post.news or hive are going to allow third party apps. cohost might. if you get in early lead, there is scope to have a reasonable income source in coming years assuming musk keeps up the good work.

android users are not going to pay for a mastodon app.

Now that the twitter API is going kaput, a tool like that would make sense. But then it only works with people who have a website.
