Mechanical Keyboards

man. lights are completely useless on this. i mean i have no need for them. i would have preferred to get a keyboard without lights. but they are usually good enough to highlight the keys in dark. but the lights on this one do not highlight the keys at all lol.

and lol. i thought this was the switch remover. my previous keyboards came with plastic keycap remover which looks like the one you said is for switches.

I think you can turn off or dim the lights with a key combination. Yeah, idk how some some people like backlit keyboard but with opaque keycap. There is also the thing about north and south facing LEDs but that's for another time.

yeah. i keep them off. but they do come handy when i have lights off and i am struggling to find a key. aula had keys where characters on keys were translucent so that came very handy. no such luck on this one lol. they really should just sell a no-backlight variant.

key press is very nice on this which i guess is the most important aspect. i enjoy typing again lol.

just a note about keychron.in lol. might make a dedicated thread later on.

i filled in my address like normal. house number and floor in first address field. area in second address field.

but they shipped the package with sticker containing the data from just the first field. bluedart surprisingly called me up at around 9am to get the area details. thankfully i picked up the call and it was not blocked by hiya. gave them the details. and entire day i was worried about them delivering it to someone else. it was finally delivered past 9pm(!) without otp. with my area details written with marker on the address sticker.

so if anyone is ordering from keychron.in, fill in the full address in the first address field. and maybe repeat it full in the second address field.

i had this exact issue with orders from AliExpress. shipments only had the data from first address field.

(also they never responded to my mail with queries about the keyboard)

I use the first address field till it runs out of character limit whenever I encounter such setup. Normally it's a good way to categorize address based on street, locality, etc but someone screws up and shit happens.

yeah it's annoying. in early days of online shopping, i used to use compact format for my address which is good enough reach my place. like hno/sector, gurgaon. but some delivery boys used to get confused with this so i started writing expanded address (house no. xxx, sector xxx, gurgaon). and then they used to call about floor, so i added floor to address details. which now sometimes results in not filling in completely in the first address field. lol.

not sure if i am going to be ordering anything from keychron.in in near future. but i have updated the address on their store just in case.
