Well, he must have wore it when he told the policemen to press the button, he was not handcuffed yet.

His hands were on the car & he doesnt seem to move it.. too short a time.And his hands are on the car after the flash as well.. In 2 seconds, I dont think he would have made his hand go to the pocket, take them out, flip the glasses open & wear them & put his hands back on the car.

lol.. This movie had lot of portholes in the plot, but it was a ok-ok watch for me. This is more in the line of bloopers. Also the bloopers video revealed one crucial thing. They seem to have edited out some part where in Tommy Lee Jones reveals or speaks about Will's father saving his life at 1:17.
