Ordered the 43 inch one with extended warranty and something called IR Blaster (no idea what it does ?) from Xiaomi India website today. Delivery in 3-5 days.

I'm using a MI 32 inches TV for about 4 months now. It's pretty decent. The IR Blaster is rubbish and waste of money. TV is good though.

Does Prime Video & Netflix work by default?.

hi,

There's no Prime video and Netflix installed by default. I use my PlayStation 4 to stream from Youtube, Prime video and Netflix. The patchwall software is not the best and as a smart tv, i think MI is useless. As someone stated before you will need a chrome cast or something else to use popular streaming services.

This tv has a youtube app, but it's very basic. You cannot cast from your mobile and the search option is very cumbersome which makes it nearly useless. It has Hotstar also. This I find useful since PlayStation 4 does not support Hotstar.

I have an 55 inch VU tv that's about a year old and it has excellent support for youtube and netflix. Not sure what Xiaomi is thinking.

I doubt it supports Airplay by default. But you should be able to use a third party app on the TV for this purpose.

Got the TV. I am unable to figure out how to cast stuff from Prime Video on mobile as well.
