I bought 3G from gearbest for $40 almost half a year ago, I was using 3 before, Performance is much better than 3 as it has 880 MHz dual core(4 thread) processor vs single core 550 MHz processor and twice the ram as well, USB 3.0 is a great addition as well as gigabit ports( can get around 970-990 Mbps while accessing connected USB 3 HDD through Ethernet port) stability has also improved, range has also slightly improved but nothing major.
I was able to get around 110 Mbps real world speed on 2.4 GHz band(4-5m away from router no walls).
Unfortunately my mobile does not support its full(867 Mbps speed on 5 GHz band), it supports its half speed(433 Mbps), I was able to get around 320 Mbps(~40 MBps), It should perform much better on a device with good quality AC adapter.
They have also launched mi router 4 which has identical specs as 3G just a bit rounded design for almost same price
