technically speaking any android smartphone running android 2.3 would have more features than the iPhone. i am talking about the capabilities of the operating system not the hardware specifications.

I've seen Idiots carrying iphone and explaining It Has the best Music player in world so I bought it.
they never purchased a App or used any smartphone feature but they are more into cosmetic value

There are 2 types of iPhone users, one who think that it is the best phone and androids suck and iPhone is greatest and only smartphone and Steve Jobs is more than God.
But then there are other users who know what an iPhone is compared to others, its shortcomings (and not afraid to admit) as well but own one just because the phone works for them the way they expect it to and satisfies their needs/wants.
I think i fall in the second category.
Btw iPhone's music player might be good but i like my sansa clip+ more.

On topic: The colleague besides me bought the canvas 2 and says, note 2 jaisa sab features under 12k milega to yeh ho lene ka na, kaun 35k kharcha karega
I say he is right in cases where a person is not much interested in the internals and just expects the phone to perform as per the need (calls, SMS) and in some cases like mine, watching movies on the go. I feel this MMX does offer value for money.

So not iPhone users r users of it just coz its Apple & that android is nonsense! But yes, on this phone, it makes perfect sense to own it, if all u need is a budget phone, that has decent functionalities, and has a decently new version of the OS. There r people in my circle, to whom i have suggested this, based on their needs.

spice and iball too came up same spec models earlier but they werent able to market it like Micromaxand now even though micromax wasnt the early bird , but it markets well enough

MMX has hogged all the ad space on TV, especially sports.Nice initiative for them. Once a mobile phone clicks, people will follow the brand from there on...Galaxy S clicked big time and Samsung got great market in India from there on!

Makes no sense to go for this phone at this price, unless if you are badly in need. Better off waiting for Canvas HD.

Yes I am not buying it for a single paisa above 9800/-Used Lava N400 for a hour today, its a good budget phone, however ~120MB internal memory killed the fun.It can be rooted and modified but there's no custom ROM for it currently.However as so many Android Devices to get launched this year, I am seriously thinking of a stop-gap phone like N400 as my galaxy3 is so out of date that I've started hating myself for even holding it
