Hello
My Canvas 4 got delivered yesterday. Pretty cool phone at this price (Rs 14399) loaded with tons of features.
However, when I connect the USB to my MAC OS X 10, it does not detect the internal storage. In my HTC one V, it used to detect automatically. Is there any setting I need to turn on to access the storage?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Try this:
Go to Settings > Storage. Then Click Menu to check for options. Some manufacturers may not activate the MTP connection by default. If that's the case, do it.

I have heard that even Nexus devices require a third party software installation on OS X because of the changes that were made in Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 architecture? Or maybe OS X does not support MTP out of the box? Googling might help.

Considering it is from the official website... Looks safe.
For Mac users only. You don't need extra software to connect your Android device to a Windows computer.Android File Transfer is an application for Macintosh computers (running Mac OS X 10.5 or later) you can use to view and transfer files between your Mac and an Android device (running Android 3.0 or later).
I guess I was right.

Update: It worked after installing that software. Hope this thread will help someone who is facing the same problem.

Thanks guys :)
