Never going to buy mmx phones again. Service centers are pathetic and mediatek processors are hard to build custom ROMs for.
 
For me at least, samsung and xiaomi :D

Mmx service centers don't have spares required. so if your camera module goes kaput and they don't have stock, be prepared for waiting in excess for 2 weeks. Had a friend whose canvas knight had camera problems. He waited more than a month until they finally fixed it.
 
which company has better service centers? :D
Nokia (now Microsoft) had good service center. But my last 2 visits I did not find attendants very friendly.
Few years back with Nokia N95, they mentioned very high price for replacement of internal part (Rs 4000), and later suggested to get new phone. I got part replaced from local shop for just Rs 200.
Recently when my Lumia 830's screen was having some gap with casing, lady attendant didn't felt problem is serious. But I insisted to fix, then she said that whole display needs to be replaced while will cost very high. I said its just glue issue, and applying glue can fix it. She checked with technician inside and agreed to fix by glue. It has now got fixed, but I have lost faith in purchasing costly mobiles :)
 
i had bad experience with OnePlus service center

i was updating my rom and accidentally hard bricked my phone, so the phone was not getting on, i went to their service center there engineer said you have split liquid on it so the mother board got damaged now you need to e replace it and the cost they said was 12500, but i was aware that it is hard brick device and explain the same to him for a hour he was not accepting then i told him that i will right to one plus team and will go to different service centre and if they able to start my phone after software update you would be in big problem and also requested them to give quotation in writing,

finally there engineer said they will try flashing software and within 5 min my one plus was in my hand wand was working properly after software updation.

after leaving there center i taught they would have fooled my customer like this who are not aware that many problem are related to software and not hardware
