I am assuming CyanogenMod would require the same. Errm never mind... Not sure if AirDroid can do this. Have not used it in a long time now. Bittorrent Sync replaced it for me.

Yes, but that's very laggy! At least it lags on my PC.

Mirroring mobile screen in a big screen would obviously lag for many reasons Get a mini pc. If you really want andriod in a big screen ...

The best way I do it using a MHL cable. Bought one Samsung MHL cable some months ago and it works perfectly on the Galaxy Nexus. The only annoying thing is that it needs constant power supply.
