Mockingbird Lane (2012)

Being an Addams Family fan, I found the pilot to be extremely enjoyable. It's lavishly mounted and a welcome respite in the vein of Pushing Daisies. Anyway, from what I read, the show is probably stalled at the moment due to creative differences.A lot of heart went into the making of the pilot, I sincerely hope it gets picked up.
 
I'm not sure how I'll feel to see "Mockingbird Lane" on a weekly basis but I thought the pilot was fun. It certainly looked expensive ($10 million was spent on the pilot).I don't understand what NBC expected from this pilot and why this wasn't ordered to series. Because, if you give 'The Munsters" to Bryan Fuller, this is how he will do it. The pilot was true to his creative interests. Not sure if NBC expected anything different.Bryan Fuller's shows are interesting and doesn't feel like anything else on TV. And yet, the networks seem to marginalize him while giving someone like Ryan Murphy a carte blanche to spread his crap.
