modem problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the modem name is glb-502t adsl2.in order 2 try bridge connection to disable pppoe light permanently i went to 192.168.1.1.i went 2 mtnl link,selected bridge option.then selected lan configuration and did server and relay off.then went to setup link and then saved it and restarted.i also changed the network connection properly.later on pppoe light gets disabled but the net does not get connected.plz suggest me some other method........
