Modem takes a long time to start

Para two :modem to bridge mode and then I am able to use VPN.
continue to use in "bridged" mode.

Looks like the ports are not getting forwarded properly.. I checked the status of the ports that I forwarded in some webistes and it showing either as stealth or closed..

SAME HERE !!

Modem lights keep blinking for 20 mins or so !!
In case of my free Nokia-siemens modem - all 4 blink simultaneously !!

BUT MY DEAR FRIEND YOUR MODEM ADAPTER WAS NOT OK
