And those who use pirated one don't have to do all these things. They just keep changing Serial Numbers and enjoy. And the Genuine one are trouble for being Genuine.

what a crap !!!

You don't need to change serial numbers if you know where to get the right stuff. I have a Windows 7 installed more than a year back, and have faced neither activation nor reactivation nor serial number issues.

an oem is married to a hardware and expires if the hardware dies.

Or U can Say, OEM become Widow after Hardware dies ......

Lucky Guy :Boy Thumbs Up:. Your Serial Number would have been used less and not assigned Pirated by Microsoft. I too have one similar kind of Windows 7 copy, but now I prefer to use my original bundled Vista . After Update its more or less same like Windows 7 . ;)

----------

I won't lie but, I have semi Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate

Just taking full benefits of having a Genuine Slic 2.0

No wonder in that dude. Windows 7 cost is so high that untill and unless its bundled with your Desktop or Laptop, very few gonna buy it

the only reason i paid for vista and win7 was that i had friends working in microsoft. i would have migrated permanently to ubuntu otherwise.

Same applies everywhere. We dont have bad intentions, yet government wants our fingerprint, photo, iris print etc etc. Just because there are some terrorists and criminals!

And it is eventually us who suffer or who are harassed, terrorists and criminals still continue to do what they do!

If you are linux savvy, then you the lucky guy ...WTH are fiddling with windows and vistas....UBUNTU AND REDHATS ARE THE WAYS TO GO
TO BEAT CRAPPY BUNDLES OF GARBAGE CALLED MICROSOFT

So you want to give a boost to microsoft bottomline ,so that your friends can continue being in microsoft...thats kind of generous on your
part, but once you know the GENESIS of microsoft (& of that funny little gazellionaire owner of that outfit)You W'd run to the shelter of LINUX
Distros

Being PC lingo illiterate Iam perforce destined to use garbaged annoyance -simply called windows (for whatever reason) but Iam a game for UBUNTU any day any time...how i wish I could learn Linux-although UBUNTU is the most WINDOW-FRIEDLY DISTRO..... perhaps I should start with dual boot installations.......

i actually have a lot of usability issues with ubuntu. that is the reason i am still sticking with windows. it is not because of any specific app i use.

you don't really need to have any technical expertise to use ubuntu. Just common sense, a willingness to learn and not expecting everything to be like windows.
