Two Lenovo phones with same specs spotted on GFXBench

A couple of new Lenovo-branded smartphones powered by MediaTek MT6735P SoC, 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter have been spotted on GFXBench. Both come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.

The model numbers XT1700 and XT1706 does indicate (XT followed by four numbers) that they are actually Motorola handsets. Lenovo Moto E may be ?

Lenovisation of Moto Hardware has begun. From Snapdragon to mediatek, this company will go a long way.

Anyway. Two identical handsets with different codenames?

Could be some minor differences. Maybe difference in frequency bands.

I don't think any firm can go a long way except for Samsung..if they transition from Snapdragon to Mediatek.

Have loved Moto g/e phones, but if it changes to Lenovo, sad, would never buy it. Sold the K4 note after 2 months of usage, Lenovo just do not know how to develop a good rom, it was very buggy.
