Motorola Alert lets you quickly alert people important to you when you need them. Simply put your phone on alert, and it will begin sending periodic notifications with your location to the people you designate so they can act fast to get you the help you need.
With Motorola Alert you can also set up places such as Home, Work, or School, so that your loved ones can be automatically notified when you leave or arrive.

Not compatible with Moto G. I guess it only works with Moto E?

If it is not compatible with Moto G, I am guessing it works only on Moto X and possibly the droids.

Confirmed. It only works with Moto E at the moment. A future update will enable it for Moto G and X as well.

Yup. It does not seem to require anything that would be X specific.

Motorola do need to bring their browser app support for Moto G and E. It is one of the cooler features they have on X.

Yup. It should also not require the special hardware that comes only in Moto X.

With 4.4.3 this app should work on all three Moto devices.
