yesterday i told my cable op collection guy that TRAI says max u can collect is 260 (currently he charges me 360). he said it will be 260+40rs entertainment tax and then 12.36 service tax .so total wud be abt 340Rs. and currently there is no such rule so he will charge 360 only.then i said, fine give me this months bill. he said we dont issue bill!!! he refused to give bill outright.i argued when u r charging me tax, u have to issue me bill. he was like, nahi de sakta.anyway, since i dont have any option and no point in fighting with collection guy, i just let the matter as it is.but i told him, aisa karega to ek din tumhara dhandha chopat ho jayega, with really bad feeling for cable op.

@Amish, its time you migrate to any of those DTH. You will not have to pay what you are paying now. If few customers like you start migrating, then only they will feel the heat.

4000Rs initial cost is too much and then 300Rs every month.i save 60Rs but then it will take me 66 months = 5 and half yrs to recover 4000Rsactually i am waiting for CAS, bcoz it will give me option of STB on rent and as per my calculation of channels we watch my monthly costs wud go down to 280Rs a month including STB rent.
