MT880 Huawei Firmware required

Hi all....can u please part with me your firmware...of Huawei SmartAX MT880 router...I have been looking for an update for months now.....the firmware I have is dated.. july 2005please if you have a later firmware...upload it and post the links..thanks

Be careful while updating the firmware. Updating with the incorrect firmware or breaking of the updation process will total your modem. So do it at your own risk..

Hi.....@techie thanks for the links....but...i have these already....".bin" files are there as updates but my router accepts only ".xdsl" files......i dont know how to use these bin files......@essebebe thanks for your suggestions ...i'll keep them in mind.thanks

TFTP, otherwise termed Trivial File Transfer Protocol is used for the transfer of files in a network. It used UDP (User Datagram Protocol) which is a less reliable and not secure.Images are often circulated as bin files. Since firmware is a program used in embedded hardwares, it often comes in .bin format. Different vendors use different extensions, i have seen Huawei use .xDSL for firmware images of some of their CPEs.Firmwares are transferred from the host computer to the router using TFTP.
