Yes, as long as you have BSNL 3G facilities available in your city, it should work fine in roaming.

Nope. Works like charm on MTNL/BSNL

I purchased a MTNL sim from Delhi. Now using it on Bsnl in Chandigarh. Getting speeds of around 6-9 Mbps easily. Now going to recharge with 1650 and disconnect my broadband.
