Mtnl dns.

MTNL DNS fails to load sites sometimes. So I use 4.2.2.2 and 8.8.8.8

In addition to that i had some good experience while buffering certain videos when on Google DNS...!!

----------

How can I change the DNS and is changing the DNS harmful? Can I revert back to MTNL DNS?

No harm just search Google DNS in Google...and yes you can revert back...

So 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are the Google DNS IP Addresses. Please can someone guide me on how to change my DNS. I'm sorry for being a noob. I'm using Mobile Partner to connect to MTNL, it's RAS type so there also is a Dial-up connection for the same.

Using Google Public DNS

Alright I have changed it. Preferred: 8.8.8.8 and alternate 8.8.4.4. Tried these tests too and everything worked fine. So I'm on the right track, right? I'm just confused about preferred and alternate, have I done them correctly?
