MTNL 3G Jadoo Experiences and Issues

Quick question guys . . . . Anyway to check data or account cash balance other than dialing *444#? Does mtnl have an online account management system? I see options to recharge online. That's it.Any other workarounds?
 
Why not *444# ? Make a call, talk for a sec and cut it !

iPad does not have the SMS service either. So you can not check it in iPad. If you want to check balance etc.. remove from iPad and put it into some other mobile.
 
Why did mtnl reduce the data from 1 gb to 300mb in 76 rs recharge this is not good...any alternatives?

I have the mtnl micro sim in the ipad. Don't have any other mobile which uses a micro sim.
 
Is it possible to be connected via MTNL 3G Jadoo with a static IP? I see that my IP keeps changing (possibly it is dynamic right now)

they don't let you have a static or purchase a static ip for 3g connections not for MTNL.
 
Absolutely not. Testing on a server away from Mumbai can give inaccurate results which can vary by + or - 1 mbps.

When speeds start to show up as 4 mbps or higher consistently, then we can believe that upgrade has started.

which means the upgrades wouldn't be happening anytime this year :( !
