The settings are the same for GPRS & 3G. For the benefit of others I'm posting here the settings which I copied from my mobile's connection properties:
APN: gprsppsmum
Username: mtnl
Password: mtnl123
Authentication: PAP
Proxy address:172.16.39.10
Port: 9401

And yes Rs.99 data coupon gives 130MB of data usage with a validity of 30 days (had used it once).

I am having Blackberry 9530. Can I us this setting for having net in my computor(Window 7) using my phone as a moderm.
I am having Prepaid MTNL G card. Having Opera MINI in my phone. Can I use MTNL internet for normal internet plan.
There is one more problem - Once I have activated 3G in my cell my 2G connection is disable.
If I continue with 3G, when I am not browsing my battery doesnt last for long.
