MTNL blocking ping? (as on date 16 Jun 2009)

Can anyone having MTNL ADSL tell me if MTNL has blocked ping?Are you able to ping to google.com or yahoo.comI can not ping any such sites but I can ping MTNL IPs only.i.e. my friend and I (both having MTNL ADSL) can ping each others IP but not able to ping yahoo or google.NOTE: All sites are working though. Just that PINGs are not working.

Which exchange are you from? are u @a user or NON @a user?I tried both the IPs in ur images, they are not pingingBtw thanks for your reply.

I am from Mulund exchange and i am NON @a user. What about you? Which exchange do you belong to?

Both google & yahoo worked for but not hotmail. I am a non @ user & from Prabhadevi exchange.

Hotmail blocks ping anyway so hotmail wont ping.I am from VileParle and friend from Elphinston, both not able to ping yahoo or google.

@Amish. Which router are you using? And are you able to login to the router page or does it take lot of time.

router? router doesnt come in picture as i use bridged mode. but anyway, yes router page opens as soon as i press enter ie. fast and no delay. router is MTNL given UTstar
