MTNL Broadband 2 MBPS Unlimited @ 599/month

I already mentioned in my earlier post all such speed upgrades are due to MTNL's mistakes and reluctance. I am getting 2mbps on 1 mbps plan for past 2 months and this doesnt relates to their upgradation policy rather their stupidness. I am just enjoying and if more peoples are getting speeds greater than their limits then keep enjoying but do not think that mtnl will be doing upgradation. Even if they had to provide high speeds at cwg sites then they can increase the speeds for just 13 days or so so that players and other officials can get speed once cwg are over then normal speeds can be restrained, its simple. MTNL will not require to make permanent arrangements or some very special hardware upgradation to provide high speeds at some handful of cwg sites. If you are not ready to belive me then you can contact any MTNL official and if someone gets agree then please put it here.In the end do not forget that mtnl have no competetior neither price wise nor Plans wise. Airtel is messing with their own customers by impossing stupid fair usage policies and TATA, Reliance and Siffy are well known for their quality and speeds they provide at user ends, and Reliace always send incorrect bills intensionally.

Seriously i don't know what has gotten into your head... but i would like to clarify.. it was no just some people who reported speed increase... i checked on other forums as well and found many people reported speed increase... that was a major reason to believe that there was something going on... secondly the mtnl site was down.... another reason

i can give you ample reason's because of which i believed that they could be upgrading the speed... what you guys don't want to believe is the reality.... who thought mtnl would give 1mbps for 999/month? it actually came as a shock to me rather than surprise...

I am not being optimistic... okay i am just talking about the facts here... i noticed since last year mtnl was going around reducing prices for the same speed every 6 months or so .. i have mentioned this 2 times already

As far as living in the reality is concerned... i can very well see by how you think you are living in reality.... don't give me bullshit reasons to tell me that i am living in fantasy also talking about dumb.. it was in the sense that the TRAI recommendation stated to redefine broadband as 2mbps and it was to be done in parts (steps) also i already knew it was 1 year old... basically what i am saying is that mtnl is moving towards that goal ... to make 2mbps the minimum speed on it's plans and to make the tariff affordable to increase broadband penetration in the country.

I don't want a flame war... period.

@admin lock this thread until we get a official announcement from MTNL or some news source about the genuine speed upgrade

my friend today told me that he is getting 2mbps since today 11 a.m. on the 599/- plan in patel nager exchange delhi

No one wants to engage in a flame war bub so chill..I know exactly which forum ur referring to and i can assure u that there are quite a few common members between the two forums so the members alleging a speed increase here may b the same ones on that forum as well..or may be not who knows..all i know is that time will answer all questions and till then we need to refrain from speculations...

@auroraPWN: lol u never fail to amuse me. kindly checkout the meaning of bub as follows:bub: Used as a term of familiar address, especially for a man or boy..So if ur something other than a man or a boy then I truely apologise my good friend.. peace out..Apologies for straying off topic with this reply...

So I was also getting 2Mbps on my connection since August 14, but sadly it is from yesterday gone.I would also like to add that my connection was down from August 12, and it was only repaired on August 14.

Thats why my thinking is that all such things are due to mtnl's mistakes, you are unlucky that they corrected your speed but in my case they are giving me 2mbps instead of 1 mbps for last two months and I also registered a complaint regarding my broadband connection and since then I am getting 2mbps
