MTNL Broadband 2 MBPS Unlimited @ 599/month

Share ur line with neighbour, ask him to downgrade his plan to 49Rs.. 2mbps plan!and then hope that when his speed is increased (to 2mbps), your speed increases toooverall u pay 495+49+50 (rent) = 594 Rs.Overall each get 1mbps unlimited just for 300Rs!PS: just a guess trick, based on ur post, not tried

I think they already have plans to switch to fibre. I hope that fibre terminates atleast till ground of the building and not the end of street. Which otherwise will mean that last few hundred meters wud still be copper.

but when, still waiting for that luck day :(

relax guys, 1 year had not past since last speed upgrade from MTNL. In my earlier post I already said all these speed upgrades are due to MTNL's reluctance to do work you are getting 2 mbps and the person who deserve 1mbps may not be getting even that even after paying Rs. 999+ to mtnl.

But Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi 7 days left. can we expect better down and upload speed?

Looking at broadband prices in India we need an upgrade ASAP !And CWG is a good enough reason to upgrade plans.

lets hope govt. doesn't change anything on internet as it can affect the current speeds. What you are getting can also be affected by sarkaari effect.Bulk SMS has been stopped, blue lines have been removed from roads, traffic jams are very well planned, they can also say No Internet for public till OCT End, due to security reason :notallowed:as most things at CWG is having a bad media and performance report lets hope internet connectivity remains atleast as is.

but when, still waiting for that luck day :(

you are not living in china, and for your info mistakes comes as a result of some work done, now corruption is the another issue on which endlees debate can be done but govt is trying hard enough to make these games success. Except the collapse of overbridge all other incidents are not like that we can come to a judgement that every thing is in bad shape. and removal of blue lines is just a fantastic thing the delhi govt had done in past 10 years. Traffic jams are not created by police or govt officials rather these are created by us so do not blame any body else for traffic jams as we are alyays a part of it.
