Yup it does whenever my net stops working.... about their way of doing R&D.... they should try at their home not on my connection.... anyways i have contacted consumer forum about what they can do about my issue. so far they have replied positive and real fast. even faster than my internet.LOLbut still i am thinkin about giving that bald north indian BAHAYA Mr.Tiwari a ONE LAST CHANCE as the concumer forum guys told me to.... lets see how this ends!!!! what SAY????

Hey guys thanks for your support and suggestions. my net is fixed and is working fine now. there was a fault(disconnection and short) in my main telephone line. dont know where that came from!!!! so they replaced my whole line with copper line. hope this new line wont cause me trouble again.

@electronik54 Are you getting stable download speed or does it fluctuates. I'm asking this because I too have same Mtnl plan i.e DSL combo Unlimited 495. My download speed fluctuates between 30-39 never stable.

If you mean you are getting 30-39 kilobytes per second then it is correct for your plan which is 320 kilobits per second.

Yup, but I used to get stable speed i.e 40 kilobytes per second a month back.

@electronik54 Are you getting stable download speed or does it fluctuates. I'm asking this because I too have same Mtnl plan i.e DSL combo Unlimited 495. My download speed fluctuates between 30-39 never stable.
nope it stays almost stable, like i some times have fluction of 2-4kb well i suppose thats normal....
i think thats normal if your speed fluctuates coz mtnl never uses co axial cables as non-govt ISP do, they use normal twin wires. also fluctuation also depends on factors like how far you live from the exchange, OR are the joints kept open and other stuff. i know all this coz one of my uncle works in Borivali exchange who told me all this stuff.

i normally get 35kbps speed but after 10pm i get around 50-70kbps!!!!
