MTNL Delhi users - pls try this and post result

This is getting annoying and before I take this to authority I want to know if this is a individual problem. All you have to do is connect your router and when internet is conented, switch off and immediately switch on the router and see if it connects again ? if it doesnt go to router logs and check for error messages. I am using unlimited connection so not sure if this problem also exists in data plan users as they have dynamic ips.

didnt get you?what happens when you do that?I get connected again after a reboot after a couple of minutes or so.

I can only connect alternatively. lets say if im connected and If I replug the router I get error Authorization Failed. then if I do it again It connects fine then again authorization failed. I know u will say jus dont unplug it, but mtnl users gets d/c every 6 hrs so unless i switch on and off after 6 hrs my net doesnt works. just check if u get authorization failed error even if u could connect

its happenin with me also - U/L user.... (already discussed)..... use bridge mode or make the login auto-retry... i have dynamic ip...

I switch lines a lot between tata and mtnl and only thing i have to do is clear the ARP cache, so cant use bridge mode as I dont want to keep changing ips all the time. D-Link 802C doesnt retries after 1 authentication failure. so connection remains dead.I dont want to use my wireless Belkin for MTNL because I use it at some other place as wireless router. . Beetel 220bx works same as D-Link and cant connect. Xavi router(given by tata) can reconnect but after around 5-7 minutes and for some reason hangs with MTNL connection, although it works fine with TATA. So tho i have 4 routers but im kinda stuck ( I think its taking time to clear out sessions so when router tries to reconnect mtnl server thinks there are 2 routers on same line and gives authorization failure.

there is no problem with mine as well...get's connected under 2 mins or so..am on U/L plan as well with dynamic ip.

Motor I understand it connects back but......does it gives authorization fail error at all in logs ?

Can't connect at all, getting authorization failed since 9 30pm and right now its 11 20. None of my 4 routers are connecting, I can't even ping their gateway 59.178.191.254 (from my tata connection) so thats tells me lot of users should be down!
