MTNL FWT Internet connection

Hi, I am from Delhi. Can anyone please let me know what is FWT Internet connection?Is it same or different from MTNL broadband connection? Regards

whether MTNL is offering FWT in your area?.. this is CDMA based wireless internet similiar to TATAINDICOM.. BSNL has offering CDMA 144kbps (speed may be varied depending your location from CDMA WLL tower) FWT means Fixed WLL Terminal.

Read reviews About MTNL triband in this forum..after reading it u can decide weather its good or not.Maximum speed offered by them is 2mbps and minimum is 256kbps..speed offered by them depends on your broadband tarrif plan

FWT is for 399 unlimited usage...with tax bill would be 450/-INR.

SPEED: Depends upon network strength. If you have good network expect 14-16 KB/s.

It's similar to TATA/Reliance FWP/FWT connection.

If you want to use it for torrent download, connection is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED because they use shared static IP.

If MTNL also introduced EVDO like BSNL on their CDMA network by upgrading it, you may get around 2mbps (theoritical speed is 2.4 mbps) ..
