That is the best I get, not the average! And since there are people who are crossing 3 mbps, that's NOT pretty good, comparatively.

BSNL 3G is capable of delivering 7.2MBps....Huh... =/ May be MTNL 3G is working fully on BSNL 3G as i thought so.....!!Lol....What a combination.....UL plan of MTNL 3G with Speeds of BSNL 3G.....Its like Godlike (MTBS) or something....!!

There are also few users who have reported vice versa. MTNL's network is very much capable of delivering 7.2 Mbps speeds. MTNL just needs to flip a switch.

I was not watching this thread last couple of days....!
A few clarifications:
1. MTNL delhi 4500 recharge cannot be done online till now.
2. You can try Paytm or rechargeguru.com for this.
3. regarding speeds... actually one should remember, when you are in roaming using bsnl tower anywhere, then you will get speed according tower which just 3mbps capable or 14 mpbs cable or 21mbps capable..
4. MTNL towers are very good when you accesing via bsnl (roam) towers...
5. gprsppsdel is right apn throught roam ( i am not sure hsdpa apn will work)
6. Currently i am in Coorg(KarnatakA) which is very hill station... high peak..But MTNL rocks...i got singal of bsnl...SUPER SPEEDS, NO DEDUCTIONS OR WHAT EVER FROM MAIN BALANCE...
SO..ENJOY unlimited internet 3g Jadoo...

yea..thanks...but we wanna know that when your FUP gets exhausted......in UL plans while roaming......do you regain the FUP data like regular MTNL users....
Like when my FUP is say 800 GB in case of 4500rs. 6 months UL...normally regular MTNL 3G users are reloaded with another 800 GB after consumption of their initial 800 GB....but what about the roaming users....?? do they get reloaded with 800 GB after their initial 800GB consumption....??
Whats your usage buddy...??? because im a heavy DOWNLOADER.....i'l b downloading like hell if i get those speeds.....

There is some good news.. It was sad, when my bsnl unlimited gone last month. I am able to get one MTNL sim for me from delhi and recharged with 4500 rs (unlimited ) for 6 months. I didnt face any problem, in roaming (chennai, bangalore) it is seamlessly working without any problem. No need of apn change is needed . It simply picks up bsnl signal and connects.. no deductions from my main balance etc....
Forutnately, i am getting very good speeds than my earlier BSNL 3g connection thouh MTNL works on BSNL singals in roaming....
Please find below screenshots from IDM and Mobilepartner for speeds... ITS TOUCHING 3 MBPS CONSTANTLY..
But when i recharged i recievd a sms that free usage of 836 GB cap).. Not sure what happens if i exceed this....not sure why they say its unlmited though i consider this enough for me....
so my 3g is back with MOST POWERFUL SPEEDS AS bonus...
this is not fair....!! i want these speeds....!!! :O
