MTNL Triband Broadband: SIP Port 5060 blocked?

Its only an incoming block here and only 5060 is blocked..i am using 5061

Its not a incoming only block , i have a sip server running at both port 5060 and port 5091 . From my softphone i am able to register with server's port 5091 but not to port 5060 . SIP OUTBOUND 5060 also blocked .

rather than arguing its better to understand that its different for MTNL from city to city and even from exchange to exchange..till 4 days ago ppl in delhi were reporting there is no 5060 blocking..yet others at the same time were having this prob..today iam not having any prob on 5061.yet for other ppl in delhi it is blocked..

I am talking only about 5060 here . I checked 5060 and 5091 ports of remote server . Atleast in Mumbai 5060 outgoing is blocked .

5060,5061 blocked for me too .. incoming as well as outgoing since today morning

5060 , 5061 blocked here also It seem they are testing the voip tech .... these block doesn't seem permanent

Well if someone wants a outbound service with a US number ringing on then pap phone can contact me . I have sip servers in data center running at port 5091 always so no port blocking problems . Is this spamming ? then mods can delete it

use pbxes to get around all port blocks

Yes but you cant get away with putting pbx in ur pc . Most VOIP providers wont change their port 5060 only for you but there are exceptions . I have come across few voip providers in past who listen on multiple ports since many isp's block 5060 . I dont remember names though , google should spit many such
