lolz  u right amish they r just so dumb but i dont think they will increase the speed above 2mbps fr the next 2 years they might just make it 2mbps constant i.e. without the word 'UPTO'..;)

Even right now they are giving a bandwidth of 6 mbps to IPTV subscribers... So I feel the day is not far when the regular broadband users will get access to atleast 6 mbps... if not 8 mbps ;)

wow so if user goes for IPTV and NU plan, he will be getting 6mbps NU for just 330Rs extra?! tempting!!

i dont think mtnl is ready to provide 8 mbps, atleast with the kind of lines they have at present. it would be practically difficult to get 6 mbps, you could be getting even less than 2 mbps. one user is facing exactly this problem.

our mtnl lines support only max of 8 MBPS...
Mtnl lines are adsl2+ which supports 24mbps not 8mbps

upgrading from 256k to 2mbps at adsl2+ started disconnection problem for me. luckily gdmt solved it. so no idea if 8mb wud work at all or not

24mbps is a theoretic possibility. It requires that the exchange to be at a close proximity from your home.

What i am saying is 8mbps is theoretic possibility(wat u said) for adsl and 24mbps is theoretic possibility for adsl2+ ............. as mtnl is adsl2+ ready

24mbps would be unbelievable...but i would finish my qouta in a few mins lol
