Oh, just checked it....its basically for Only Twitter right?? Coz it even asked me to allow it to use my Twitter data....But, i am not having any account, and not even planning to join there.....coz already i am on 3 sites - Orkut, FB & over here......theres no meaning joining somewhere & then just not looking at it!!

twitter is the main feature. but it would also work for regular links from 100+ services. if there is a youtube link, it would be turned into an embedded video. just like it happens here on the forum without any need for a plugin. as for twitter, it is not like Orkut or Facebook. you do not spend time on it. it runs like a messenger and you can check messages and post your own stuff.

Have installed it, since it is also useful for other sites as u said!!And i am not even able to manage my time spent on the already active ones.....so, i am now ensuring that i do not join anywhere else - coz all this is becoming an addiction now!!

well. facebook is an addiction. twitter is mmm not comparable to it. there is nothing much to DO on Twitter. best is to use a simple desktop app and keep an eye on your favorite brands and personalities (if you do not have many friends on Twitter). it is pretty cool coz you get to hear about the latest news from companies like airtel/tatadocomo and so on pretty fast.

You are right.....but the point is, i am even trying to cut-down on my current activity on net......and while i am slashing down, it would be tough to accomodate another thing - may be i would give it a try, if the other friends too get in there!!

Nah!! Not that....but then, its getting too much - daily activities are getting hampered. Self-control yaar!!

OH!! So is this your full time work?? Nice - connected to the Internet 24x7......if we do that here at our workplace, we are gone!! We have to steal time when bosses arent around!!

ah well. i guess. i picked my line of work i guess way back in 2000 when i joined a dot com company. our office at that time had a 2mbps line for the entire office. after office hours were up we used to get 180-200KBps. this was in 2001. ;) and 10 years on, my own home connection gets me a maximum of 120KBps. what a freaking shame.
