select multiple tab is ok for a few tabs. but if you have a lot of them selected, it is not as useful.

The 12.0.712.0 dev build allows you to select multiple tabs at once using Ctrl key and issuing a specific action to all selected tabs thus effectively reducing the need of 'Reload All Tabs' extension.

Thats nice, I yet to upgrade from 11 beta.

But still I prefer a button like this -

or something like this -

which does the job with a click or two !

I think thats something like "Panic button"??

U press ur customised key, and all the open tabs shut out immediately. Not only that, u can even customise which Sites u wont to open up, when the OTHER tabs are shut.

On repressing, the whole process gets reversed. Pretty useful add-on for offices!!

That was the one I posted in start of the thread, if I'm not misaken, its bit similar but it refershes all the open tabs, especially useful for people like me who go on to open something like 10-15 or more tabs at a time(many a times).

PS: Edit that post, and mention the exact number of tabs....!! Hehe!! :D

@ rj27...

Yeah i saw that Panic Button - red colored in the screen cap u posted. Doubts cleared!!

Back to Chrome again......its spoilt my habits really. Cant digest the time Opera takes at times in loading. And this time, no clones......i am on Chrome Beta now!!

But i am allergic to instability, esp in browsers. And in theory, its been always advised that try to stay away from alpha versions atleast. Beta's are still lot stable versions.

Thats good. But then if i shift to dev channel build, then i hope it again doesnt entail shifting......Dont know what went wrong, but my passwords from Older (Chromeplus) didnt get restored into this new installation, even after i synced. Every other thing got synced, but not the passwords.Had all the tastes, but no salt!!

one tip... do not just rely on chrome for your passwords. create a free account on lastpass.com and use it as well. works well with almost all browsers now.

Undo Close Tab - though chrome displays list of recently closed tabs on a new tab page but still It may come handy in certain scenarios with some adjustments in its options.
