Welll DOne TS for addinf another channels in gold package. so that no one can view it. what an idea to show world movies in the mornings and bindass in the night soon we will find star sports in the morning and espn in the afternoon and star cricket in the night

AND ON TOP OF THAT Tata Sky CANNOT INCLUDE THIS CHANNEL ON THE OLD PACKAGES BECAUSE DIFFERENT PEOPLE ARE SUBSCRIBED TO DIFFERENT PACKAGES.SO THEY HAVE DECIDED TO PUT IT INTO ATHE Lifestyle PACK.AND WHY NOT IF U SERIOUSLY WANT TO HAVE THESE CHANNELS THEN SUBSCRIBE TO THE GOLD PACK.EXCEPT NDTV GOODTIMES AND 9X THE OTHER CHANNELS ARE BEING APPRECIATED BY EVERYONE IN INDIA.THE PROBLEM WITH U ALL GUYS IS THAT FIRST U CRY FOR NEW CHANNELS TO COME IN TATA SKY AND WHEN THEY ADD THESE CHANNELS U AGAIN CRY TO MAKE THEM FREE THOUGH THEY ARE NOT .SO SOMETIMES THINK POSITIVE AND BE HAPPY WITH WHAT U GET!!!:madness:

first i want to give a suggestion THINK TWICE BEFORE SHOUT u know one thing iam paying 350rs/pm for south jumbo pack how should i needed to pay more to get all those channels iam not asking all channels i want my regional +sports +hindi and english i dont need all those other regionals tamil kannda malayalm punjabi marathi why cant ts make all regionals as add on pack like sun dth and reduse base price even though some of the newly aded hindi channels are crap i want them because i can undrstood these channels from day one ts keep on fooling all customers 1 their initial cost is highest amongst all service providers 2 they kept wait us more thaan a year for sun channels when they came they ask 50rs/pm 3 they dont have enogh music channels till now 4 even now they r cheating with their new adds TATASKY SIRF 1499 not 1500 rs scounders why cant they inform those 1000rs of installation chanrges on adds i only want say one thing if u dont know all this points its ok even after knowing all this points if u keep on shout it will be called as ........or u might be working for ts[as ur login name suggets]
Best option is ala carte pricing for all channels and then let the customers decide if they want any channel at that price. If that happens, most of the channels will automatically convert themselves into FTA since they will need viewers to get ad revenue and if nobody will pay for that, they will have to be FTA. With ala carte pricing, i think everybody will get the channels they want at Rs.200 only.This will curtail monopolistic attitude of some big networks, where they make package sell of some crap channels with some popular channels and make the users pay for craps. This will stop after ala carte pricing.

You are right, this is longtime demand pending towards Tata Sky and DISH certailnly scores here in terms of introducing region (language) based packages. Don't know what's stopping them from introducing language packages, by now they should have recover initial costs for setup, now they should seriously think on packages. By packaging based on language based they could bring down costs within Rs 300 per customer and also keep some JUMBO pack with all available channels (if anyone is interested)
