My connection acting weird, Help!!!

From 2am today I'm experiencing some weird issues with my connection. My plan is 500C and the modem/router is Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600. The problems I'm facing are random failed downloads from file hosts for some links even if the file is available. Download starts and after about 1 min the download speed reaches 0. This happened with downloading from file hosts and also from some high speed link generator services but I was able to download PS CS5 trial from Adobe at full speed. Another issue is speedtest.net is not completing the test; it loads the test and get stuck at 'preparing download'. Also this forum is taking longer to load than it used to. I've never had a problem with this connection, help.

do you have utorrent or any bit torrent software on your computer. have you checked if their ports are not been blocked. this sometimes leads to slow browsing and failed downloads.If your ISP is throttling your connections these sort of issues occur where some ports are not completely free for download. this sounds like a port block issue

The issue is not with p2p traffic but with http downloads sometimes.
 
I was facing the same issue, when utorrent was not able to get a clean open port, it was slowing down my entire browsing and my http downloads did not complete, once i forwarded the ports for utorrent. i was able to surf and download at normal speeds once again.

try to close utorrent from processes and download the same link where it was failing
