My dns automatically changes

Yesterday i installed Open DNS, and change my dns to Preferred DNS Server :208.67.222.222Alternate DNS Server :208.67.220.220 After that, my DNS will automatically changes to Preferred DNS Server : 192.168.1.1Alternate DNS Server : -- is blank--Open DNS gives error, again i changed to 208, but after some time again my DNS automatically changes to 192.Any idea?

Enter the two DNS values in the ADSL modem itself. Save and reboot the modem. Verify whether the settings have been retained by the modem.

Once set, the values won't change unless you reset the modem.
