My mtnl connection hangs

hi friends,iam really worried my mtnl internet connection always hangs:impissed: when i leave it on for downloading overnight. I use LAN (ethernet) intrerface connect to internetMy motherboard lan card was faulty sometime back so i purchased a new D-Link ethernet card but still the problem persists i have tried all the power managemnent thingsPLz help me my plan is 256 Unlimited and iam in DELHI.:impissed:Thanks

Have you tried hanging the phone while connected to net solution?

no i havent connected the phone i just use for my internet:huh:

As an initial test, post your SNR, Line Attenuation values from your modem's setting page.

you have splitter? use it even if you dont have any phone attached as it converts waves to diff frequencies.
