I suggest using external antenna.
Please do not confuse it with signal repeater.
External antenna can be attached to connecter specially given in adapter...if given..
I used to use it with my 3g idea netsetter which had qualcomm chipset and manufacturer was Huawei.
Our village had no tower but i could use 3g due to signal from another village at about 5 km.
So,it was quite effective.
Mobiles could not even latch on network at rooftop, but it worked at 500 KBPS at rooftop and 300 KBPS on ground floor.
But i had compatibility issue.
I had to but 3 different antenna and luckily one worked.
Having repeaters is illegal but having external antenna for JioFi is not illegal.
There are few diy methods in youtube too..
Try whichever works for you.
Despite the fact that I am not getting 4G speeds I am not going to lose my sleep for this.
We will be moving to a new house soon. Once we move I will take Jio fibre.
You seem to get 11 Mbps which is not bad at all.
Idk what are you complaining about.
I know many people who'll pay more to get more than 2-3 Mbps upload speed whereas you get about 6 Mbps.
I use jiofi without battery... so now I removed the back cover of battery which I believe will expose the network deep inside... got little improvement though
Understood. I am just confused about the varying results from different speed test websites. Its difficult to judge which one to believe. Thanks a lot everyone for your replies.
