TATA Photon+
Hi, I am new to this site. tried browsing some old posts, but figured I specifically ask this question again, because I am unable to get a conclusive answer.
I am currently using TATA Photon+. It works fine. The issue and reliability is not the problem, but there is problem with the cost. I have an unlimited plan, but it only allows me to download 10Gb per month at around Rs.1600. If I download above that limit, I am charged a few paise per Mb that I have downloaded. I am considering changing over to a cheaper option which allows more download at decent speed and reliable connection(by reliable I mean, doesn't die out for a couple of hours all of a sudden). I plan on changing my photon+ scheme to a minimum prepaid plan, just as a backup, while using a new cheaper connection for downloading movies, software etc.
I used to have MTNL Triband earlier, but it has reliability issues. If they have sorted that out, then I don't mind going back to Triband.
I need Help in deciding what would be the best cost effective option to go for, for a person living in Gorai-Charkop area, Borivali(W), Mumbai; who has a usage of around 25Gb per month and needs decent speeds.
Can anyone tell me which one of the following is the best buy:
MTNL Triband
Hathway
YOU Broadband
Or maybe something from TATA Indicom itself.
Thanks a lot in advance. Hoping for a reply :-)

any wireline broadband would be better than photonplus ..
youbroadband n hathway r cheap compare to mtnl with better quality n perfrormance

Thanks a lot guys. I'll just figure out the best buy between MTNL and YOU. Thank you for your replies :-)

I would seriously consider the 1mbps plan from fivenet if available in ur area... Other than giving u decent speeds normally, it will give u speeds upto 20-80Mbps on dc++ & many of the popular torrents too(fastest speed I have recorded on a torrent is 85mbps although 30mbps is normally the common speed)... This is mainly coz now fivenet has started cacheing torrent content too just like it caches YouTube ... It will be a great investment if available in ur area...

MTNL or You BB or even airtel if you are ok with their FUPs. Personally I don't like airtel anymore !

guys I am relocating from Thane to Borivali W, Near Gorai, MHB colony soon, so I need you to suggest me best broadband service providers... is Relience give services ? their thunder 550 seems interesting with 1mbs speed and unlimited without FUP,
Hathway doesnot provide services in Borivali west I confirmed.
