Hi,
i got to repair a router which belongs to a friedn of mine. She got it from the ISP Alice, the model is Alice Wlan 1121. As Alice dosent provide firmware downloads for this device on their Website if googled some days to found out that it is some type of beetel modem with a Alice Branding. According to this page SIEMENS S1621-Z220-A [mbirth's Wiki] it is a 110BX1.
My actual problem is that i first got the firmware of the 110BX1 work on it, but it didnt provide WLan support so i flashed the FW of the 220BX1 on it
. Big Failure of me. Now the Box isnt accessible at all. The status looks like this: The DSL LED is permanent on, if i plug in the ethernet cable the LEDs for the Ethernet Connections are flashing all togehter for some time (around 1 minute) and after that the correct LED (e. g. LED1 for ETH 1) goes on.
I tried to do a reset, but it dosent change anything ( tried it for serveral times).
I opened the box ( it dindt had warranty / gurantee left, its over 2 years old) and found a Jumper ( J5 ) on it. Is that a JTAG connector or something?
How can i bring the Box back to Live? Please help!!
