Negative Balance showing in Account after Disconnection - BSNL

Dear All,

I recently got my BSNL Telephone and Broadband services disconnected. I took this connection back in 2009. I got it disconnected in April 2020. Bill for April came in May of around Rs600/-.

I didnt pay it yet.. Now its June and its showing Outstanding amount in negative i.e. -3042. Please check the screenshot.

Anyone know what does it mean??

I only submitted disconnection form at city bsnl head office and they didnt ask for any instrument. There was one guy enquiring about refund to which they said something about check. After two days we get call from bsnl about disconnection request and it got disconnected within minutes.
I will go check about that refund.

They're not able to pay salaries forget refund. I disconnected FTTH this week, my landline refund is pending since last year

For me, the other way around. I haven't paid my bill for 3 months. I thought they'd disconnect and would stop charging. I was proved wrong (again). They did disconnect, but continued to charge me for no service. Bill is now at 3k+. Registered at grievance portal now. Let's see how it goes.

Anyone knows meaning of this - Sec Deposit Refund against OS

I dont know how I got 2800rs refund amount in Security.. although i haven't got it. Its showing in my bill. Does BSNL pay interest on our security?
