Dear All,

I recently got my BSNL Telephone and Broadband services disconnected. I took this connection back in 2009. I got it disconnected in April 2020. Bill for April came in May of around Rs600/-.

I didnt pay it yet.. Now its June and its showing Outstanding amount in negative i.e. -3042. Please check the screenshot.

Anyone know what does it mean??

Thanks.

For me, the other way around. I haven't paid my bill for 3 months. I thought they'd disconnect and would stop charging. I was proved wrong (again). They did disconnect, but continued to charge me for no service. Bill is now at 3k+. Registered at grievance portal now. Let's see how it goes.
Finally, bsnl stopped charging my fibre connection. Not sure why. However, I did bash everyone I come across in bsnl. LCO, the lady who called me after my complaint, etc. So, the bill remains the same. I don’t have time to fight again to reduce the bill. I already have a security deposit of 1.5k. So, only less than 2k is due for me. Such a big relief!

So I filed a PG Portal Complain in September.. And today I got a call from BSNL regarding my account details.. And they said they are processing my Refund now.
I hope i will be getting my refund soon. :D:D And they were saying about PG Portal too.. that you complained in pg portal. lol

SO I got update from PG Portal that my Refund has been processed in CRM system and sent to circle office for payment.

How much time it would take now to get the refund? Anyone knows?

For us they made us give a cancelled cheque - and we got it credited to the bank account - after about 15 months....

Edit: For reference - this is my old post talking about it. Also it was 16 months, realized after seeing the post.
