Net Down for 2 days

For the past two days, i am not get Internet connection. That is, the Internet LED is simply in OFF Status and also it says Password authentication error. But from today morning it is ok. Can u pls tell me, why for the past two days it says password error?
 
Whenever you get this problem, if you can surf the Internet otherwise,
go to your UsagePortal (IP117.xx.xx.xx) and change UserId password, and reenter your old password.
2. If you are using a wanminiport dialer, reenter the password.
sometimes caps are used and connection fails.
3. Or change settings in the modem to "AlwaysOn" PPP/PPPoE connection. Not
"bridged"

I reenter the password for several times, but it will not work for that 2 days.
I had one doubt, is Modem password and bbservice.bsnl.co.in password should it be same?:(
