Netlink single band speed issue

Hi, I'm using BSNL fibre 777 plan. According to the plan i should get 100 mbps. But the modem provided by BSNL was single band Netlink GPON, so I'm only getting below 40mbps via WiFi, but via lan I'm getting more than 80mbps, so if i bought a 5ghz adsl router and connected it to my netlink modem via lan cable. Will it solve my WiFi speed issue?

Get Archer C6 router. Bridge the ONT to router. And relax. You'll get 100+ Mbps speeds

If you're never going to upgrade to 100+ Mbps plans in future, you may choose them. Else, get Archer C6/A6, or for cutting Cost, Mercusys AC12G

May I know the model of Netlink router?
I have the same router and I don't have any problems whatsoever in getting speeds above 90

No Netlink itself.
No issues at all

How are you measuring your broadband speed on WiFi - are you using a laptop/computer or a Mobile phone?

Please check this in case you get less speed.
You need to change your LAN IP address of the device in case this happens and it will be proper

If it's laptop/pc, there might be problem due to drivers. Many drivers are proprietary and are not compatible with other OS such as Linux.
