New 5G Mobile Phone Buying Guide

Here's a list of 5G bands along with telcos who provide them. Check this list and match with your upcoming 5G phone to have a better idea about it.

Motorola has one of the best phones in the market from mid range to high end. They all have at least 12-13 5G bands which are sufficient for everything. Other companies are cutting down on 5G bands which will definately be a bummer in terms of speeds. Choose wisely because a new 5G smartphone is a long term no headache investment.

If you ask for suggestions then I would recommend you checking out Motorola devices. They have everything you need.

N77 isn't needed BTW. Due to device Support operators will deploy N78 only. For next 2 years we need N28,N78 only and later we'll be needing N1,3,5,8,40,41,78. About mmWave only top end phones like iPhone Pro series and Samsung flagships gonna support it

I have LG wing which also supports mmw so I would love to see the speeds I get if mmw is deployed at any site here.

What all LTE bands it supports in India? GSMarena shows N260,261

GSM areana etc. Sites have wrong data. I tested it with different sims and it has all bands. Also I used the *# code on phone app and it showed me all the bands. If you haven't seen my edits then here it is -

5G FR1: 450 MHz - 6 GHz , 5G FR2: 24.25 GHz - 52.6 GHz

My dad's G8X Thinq also shows all those bands in Engineering mode band menu but it doesn't have 5G support. Check if ur Wing has LTE B40,41 support using NetMonster

Jio uses n28b and apt 600 mhz assigned to bsnl/mtnl include this too

OnePlus phones don't support N28B even 10T. APT 600 still no device Supports it so no point in mentioning that
