New Airtel AirFiber Query

Are new Airtel AirFiber connections based on mmwave like Jio Airfiber? I am planning on getting a air fiber connection as we only have one fiber in our area and they are not reliable. Confused between getting jio airfiber or airtel airfiber. On phone I get above 1Gbps on Jio and above 500Mbps on Airtel in my area.

i dont think mmwave is available for public use yet ,jio has a full SA network hence they can deliver upto 1gbps on airfiber

from my airfiber review i would recommend you airtel airfiber

Is Airtel offering speed more than 200Mbps for their AirFiber connection? and can we opt for their TV box without DTH antenna?

@ISPUser2 no the current plans are upto 100mbps 1tb

air fiber speeds are capped acording to plans purchased
so you wont get 1Gbps speeds

@ISPUser2 I have been using Airtel Air Fiber since Aug 2024, without any cause for concern. Speeds are consistent at 100-105 Mbps 99% of the time and for the remaining 1% a quick restart fixes it. It is easy to set up, I have done the install myself when shifting house in November 2024 - as the Airtel Team refused to re-install as the Gated Community i live in has wired Broadband.
